End of 2022: Book Edits Complete, Physical Proof Inbound

Hello fellow Leashers,
2022 has been filled with excitement and we owe a majority of it to you backers! Cheers to the new year and we look forward to 2023 with all of you.
So the past months have been very eventful with the digital release and continued work on the physical book. Thank you for all of the compliments for BoTD, we put a lot of our love into the work. Shoutout to those who went the extra mile to inform us of any issues you came across, it helped us get the book ready for the Physical Proof. An updated PDF will be available within a few days in your existing drive access.
Physical Proof: With all of your feedback, the team has made revisions to the book, and is expecting the Physical Proof this month! We are excited to see the proof and hopeful that the art design will be captured through the print. We have been working with the printer at length to get a quality product finalized that we cannot wait to get in our hands for final review.

Next Steps: If all goes to plan, we will get the Physical Proof, review it, and approve it for print. At that point we will be making the bulk order and will be able to update the project time-line with estimated print duration, and shipping times, Once we have received and reviewed the proof, we will update you all!

October Update: Digital Content Complete!

Happy Halloween! We are so excited to share that the digital content will be coming to your Kickstarter emails TODAY via a google drive link. We went through everyone's pledge to ensure you get what you backed but if there are any issues please contact [email protected].
This is the largest project we have done and have had it reviewed many times. We are very proud of this and hope you enjoy the content. With that said, if you do happen to come across any typos, grammatical issues, etc. please let us know! We appreciate all feedback and are willing to put contributors names inside the final book!
We are currently sharing this most recent PDF with our printers and will provide more specifics on a timeframe for the physical release in upcoming updates, thank you for the support.
Locking OrdersSoon
We will be locking your orders on backerkit within 48 hours as we start to get into the physical portion of the Kickstarter. This means you will only have 48 hours to make any last adjustments to any add-ons that you would like to put onto your pledge. You will still be able to update any shipping info for the time being. We will lock addresses further down the road when the physical book is closer to completion.

While we have been busy with this we have also been releasing a monthly creature on our Patreon. The content on there is compatible with Beasts of The Dissonance and follows the same designs as this project. You can never have too many beasts...

Hello everyone!
Sorry for the delay but we are excited to announce that the digital content will be complete and sent on Oct 31st! We are now putting in the final touches to the PDF and can't wait for this and the models to be in your hands! This has been an awesome project and we have put a lot of effort and time to bring you something special. As always we are grateful for your continued support!
While you are waiting for the digital release become a patron! The Grinning God Patreon has content that is compatible with "Beasts of The Dissonance" and for a limited time, is ONLY $1 to join. Your support will help us continue to produce content and grow the Grinning God world. As a plus, this will give you an idea of the content that will be releasing by the end of the month. We are at 94% completion of individuals who have finished their backerkit survey. The email associated with kickstarter should be the one that is being used for the backerkit survey. Please email [email protected]if you are not seeing the emails. Reminder emails are being sent weekly to those individuals who have yet to fill out their survey.

Backerkit Surveys:If you filled this out you may disregard this section.
To those who have yet to fill out the survey: To ensure you receive everything you paid for it is required to complete your backerkit survey. We are currently sitting at 92% completion. Please search your inbox associated with the email used when backing this project on Kickstarter and search for "backerkit." Please reach out if you need assistance!
October Digital Release: All digital related content is on track to be sent out in the month of October 2022. This includes the digital stretch goals achieved during the campaign. We are excited to get this into your hands and hear your feedback on the content!
Physical Release: Fingers crossed that when the book is all put together we can get the proofs printed in a timely manner. Once we are good with the print we will be doing the large scale print. We will have a more concrete idea as we progress through the month of September on time tables, unfortunately the supply chain still seems to continue to be a black hole. We are confident in our fulfillment partners to get the products to you ASAP. More information to follow.
Final Edits: The short story, leasher class with 5 subclasses and the Beastiary are actively being edited or complete. We should have final versions within the next few weeks.

Hello everyone!
We hope you all are doing great! We are excited to share how things are going with the project.
Stretch Goals/ Additional Content
A basalt rock formation to add dimension to your encounter.
This weeping mass is sure to disgust your table.
The flesh huts of the mlog.
The chimes have a significant meaning.
The shaedros is of the Siln ilk.
These STLs have been a lot of fun to sculpt and we are on track of finishing the last bit of the stretch goals, we hope you enjoy them!
Short Story, Leasher Class, & Monsters
The short story has now reached excess of 20,000 words! We are super proud of it and it is now undergoing the first phases of edits. This story is sure to give you plenty of ideas to use in your games.
The Leasher class and stretch goal monsters are getting close to completion. Our team with the help of others have been playtesting and refining some lower lever encounters and will continue to work our way up as we button everything up. The underlying theme we are trying to capture with this Kickstarter Campaign and the Grinning God universe is really starting to show through. The Leasher class and additional monsters will be completed and have at least first pass edits complete in August. We do talk at some length in our Grinning God Podcast: Episode 2 in regards to these items. Watch/listen to learn more!
